63.              $650

Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Garfield”, 1884. A 29.5-inch walnut case with a polished finish and no missing trim pieces.  The door glass is likely original, the dial holds old paint with the ST logo and proper ST hands.  The signed 8-day, time-and-strike ST movement is running nicely, driven by two brass weights and a damascened nickel pendulum bob, striking on a cathedral gong.  There is a black label inside on the bottom, and the date of manufacture stamped on the back.  A nice example.  AAC has sold four of this model in the last several years for an average of $812.  $650–$800.
