55.             $100

Ansonia Clock Co. “La Orb”, ca. 1904.  A 13-inch by 14.5-inch case in apple green with pink and white freesia flowers on the front.  The case is flawless with no crazing and good gilding remaining.  The signed dial is without hairlines, the hands correct, the visible escapement with steel pallets. The signed 8-day, time-and-strike movement is running and striking on a cathedral gong as expected.  The name is printed on the back.  $100–$200.
