Waterbury Clock Co. “Calendar No. 33”, ca. 1908. A 40-inch oak case with a dark and overcoated finish.  The finials are as shown in the catalog illustration on page 108 of Ly,Waterbury Clocks & Watches, Vol. 1.  The dials are paper with considerable wear; they are both marked Waterbury, and the hands are as shown in the catalog illustration.  The 8-day, time-and-strike calendar movement is running and striking on the hours and half-hours on a cathedral gong, and the calendar is advancing; the movement is unsigned.  The pendulum is Waterbury issue, and there is a Waterbury porcelain beat scale and black label at the bottom.  There are additional labels on the back. An uncommon model.  $275–$400.
