Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Office Calendar No. 4”, ca. 1863.  An early calendar clock from Seth Thomas, as indicated by the Plymouth Conn stamp on the movement and the use of the Mix Brothers patented calendar mechanism.  The 27.5-inch case is veneered in rosewood in a clean finish with no chips.  The glasses are likely original, both dials are old, the hands Seth Thomas issue.  The signed 8-day, time-only movement is running, and the calendar is advancing.  A good label on the back of the door.  AAC sold this model in 2022 for $581.  $400-$600.
