Foster S. Campos lyre banjo, 2001. A
42-inch walnut(?) case with a light finish and a carved fleur de lis finial on top. The year of manufacture (01) is stamped
into the case at the lower right, inside throat base. There is a domed glass over the signed dial, Campos-made hands, and a
beautifully carved lyre case over a reverse-painted glass by Tom Moberg. The 8-day movement was made by Campos and is signed,
as is the weight; it is running. There are pine tree logos on the glass (lower left) and dial (not shown). AAC sold one
in 2022 for $1851. $1200–$1800.
