E. Howard & Co. “No. 59 Regulator REISSUE”, 1976.  A 46-inch walnut case that’s had a rough life.  This clock has been exposed to moisture and shows rusting and wear to the backboard, inside and out.  The 46-inch case is missing the bottom finial, with an imaginative replacement; it is also missing the pendulum tie-down.  The weight has been modified with weight added, apparently easier than having the movement serviced.   The metal dial shows corrosion on the back (the front is fine), as do the hands.  The movement is signed with the serial number 89, dated 10-76, with a silvered and damascened pendulum bob.  It is running without issue.  In good condition these sell for $600 and up.  $225–$400.
