Sessions Clock Co. “Regulator No. 5”, ca. 1912. William and Albert Sessions of Bristol CT took over and renamed the failing Welch Manufacturing Co. in 1903 and continued manufacturing clocks until 1936, when the company switched over to electric clocks as electric service became common in the US. By my count Sessions made only three weight-driven wall clock models; this is one of them.  The oak case is 50 inches with applied carvings and a clean finish; the door glass is modern.  The 12-inch dial is paper, possibly original, and is doubly signed, with some spotting. The three hands are original.  The double-wind, 8-day movement is weight-driven by two brass weights that run along the sides of the case; it is signed and running like a champ.  The pendulum and bob are original.  There is no label.  Not a common model; AAC sold one that had issues in 2023 for $339.  $300–$450.
