Waterbury Clock Co. “Regulator No. 18”, ca. 1906.  This is the later version of this model, 49 inches long in oak and nicely refinished with a medium stain.  The door glass is period/original; the 12-inch painted dial is clean and signed at the bottom, the hands are as shown in the catalog illustration in Ly, Waterbury Clocks & Watches, page 185.   The brass movement is polished, signed and running, 8 days, time-only, driven by two original grain-painted wafer weights.  Remains of a black label on the bottom, with a Waterbury beat scale.  Fontaine’s sold a similar example in 2021 for $750.  $300–$500.
