9.              $350

S.B. Terry wall regulator, ca. 1850.  A second example of this late SB Terry model; note that this example does not have a seconds bit.  The 32.5-inch case is veneered in rosewood except on the wooden bezel, where the veneer has been lost.  The slant-base is a replacement (the original was probably broken out by a weight fall).  The dial glass looks to be twentieth century, the lower glass period with a restored tablet. The metal dial is faded and may not be original to this clock, as there are duplicate screw holes.  The hands are appropriate, with a replaced minute hand.  The rectangular 8-day, time-only, weight-driven movement is unsigned, as was typical.  It is running, driven by a cast iron weight and regulated by a period pendulum.  The sliding wooden weight shield, which would have had a Terry label, has been lost.  $350–$600.
