247. $100
German two-weight cuckoo, ca. 1960? I believe this
is a late model cuckoo clock, as you can find similar new models online and in novelty stores. The carved pine case is 18 inches
tall with carved pine trees and mountain chateaus, with a water wheel on the lower left and a grazing deer on the lower right. The numbers and hands are plastic and likely original. The brass one-day movement is unsigned and there are two functional bellows. There is no label or maker’s stamp. It is running and the cuckoo appears and calls on the half-hours and counts the hours, along
with a wire gong strike on the back. $100–$200.
