Black Forest two-weight cuckoo, ca. 1880.  A 21-inch case with elaborate carvings, porcelain cartouche numbers and carved bone/ivory hands.  I see no missing pieces or repairs to the case.  However, this impressive clock needs some help – both bellows are missing and the cuckoo is not hooked up.  Nonetheless, it runs and tries to strike.  The one-day movement is brass, unsigned, and there is no label to be found.  If you have some repair skills, or know someone who does, this cuckoo is for you.  $250–$400.
