Black Forest gothic church shelf cuckoo,ca. 1880.  A spring-driven cuckoo that runs 8 days and strikes on the hours and half-hours.  It is 23.5 inches tall with the period center finial.  I see no missing pieces and it is running without problem; the movement is brass and unsigned. The dial numbers and hands are bone.  I can find no similar sales examples on LiveAuctioneers or the Antique Clocks Identification and Price Guide.  $500–$1200.
