238. $50
German spring-driven wall clock, ca. 1890. A 36-inch walnut? case; there are wormwood holes on the backboard and front of the door, but none are active. The crest is a
replacement, and the two drop finials look like replacements as well. The glasses are old. The porcelain dial is in fine
shape and the hands appropriate. The movement is marked “Deutsch Reichs Patent” with the serial number 50775. It will
not run for long, strikes weakly, and is very oily. A large embossed pendulum bob. $50–$150.
