Winterhalder & Hofmeier bracket clock with two-gong strike, ca. 1920.  A 16.25-inch oak case with a dark finish.  The brass dial with ornamentations in the spandrels has a silvered chapter ring and fancy hands.  It sits behind a square beveled glass.  The 8-day, time and bim-bam strike movement is signed W&H Sch; it is running and counting the quarter hours on two cathedral gongs and the hours on one gong.  The strike hammers need slight adjustment for the best sound.  $100–$250.
