Seth Thomas “Kenbury” Model E705-03, ca. 1940? In 1931 Seth
Thomas became a division of General Time Instruments Corp. This clock was made some time thereafter; it is not listed in Ly’s
two volumes on Seth Thomas clocks. The mahogany tambour case is 15.5 inches wide and 8.5 inches tall with a convex dial glass
and a painted metal dial with gold trim and hands. The dial is signed. The time-strike-chime movement (No. 124) is running,
striking on the hours, and playing Westminster chimes on the quarter-hours on four rods. The tone is sweet. There is an
instruction label on the inside back door. $15–$50.
