207. $100
Wagon spring demonstrator, ca. ? I’m not sure what this is about, but it is clearly a wagon spring (accelerating lever spring)-driven movement for display. It stands 16.5 inches tall with the glass dome, which is badly cracked and may not survive. The unsigned round movement (possibly Atkins) is oily and will not run; it is a double-wind time-only movement, likely to run for 30 days (if it ran, which it doesn’t). It sits on a wooden base that exactly fits the dome. No label to be found. $100–$250.
Please note, I cannot guarantee the dome will arrive unbroken.
