201. $100
Standard Novelty Co. night lamp clock, ca. 1886. An annular clock with a kerosene lamp in the middle to provide a lighted clock and night-light. The milk-glass dome rotates
on the nickel base once every 12 hours, with an indicator arrow on the front to show the time. The glass lifts off to light
the kerosene lamp at bedtime. It winds on the bottom and is a one-day movement, time-only. It is running after a good
shaking. The maker’s name is stamped into the bottom and on the indicator mount, with a patent date of 1886. There is
a fast-slow adjustment for the lever spring movement. I can find only one sale, on LiveAuctioneers, for $175 in 2012. $100–$250.
