Foster Campos lyre banjo, ca. 1980? Campos made this clock specifically for William Mather in Vermont, a noted clock collector and dealer. It is marked No. 1 on
the dial, case, and front. The case is 36 inches long in solid mahogany with a carved fleur-de-lis finial, a convex glass and
a reverse painted glass of a woman with a harp in the throat. Note the fir tree on the lower right. The dial was painted
by The Dial House in 1996. The signed 8-day, time-only movement is running, driven by a No. 8 weight signed by Foster Campos. AAC sold a Campos lyre banjo in 2022 for $1851. $1500–$2000.
