Sessions Clock Co. “Regulator E” advertiser, ca. 1908.
A 38-inch oak case with an old finish, an original dial glass and a replacement advertising glass featuring Calumet Baking Powder
“Best by Test”. The tin dial pan has a signed paper dial, modestly yellowed. The 8-day, time-only Sessions movement is
running strongly, regulated by a Sessions pendulum that I think must have been broken and shortened. There is a good label on
the back. William M Wright founded Calumet Baking Powder Co. in Chicago and sold out (to his son) and moved to Lexington, KY,
founding Calumet Farm in 1924; at one time the most famous horse farm in the world. $150–$300.
