Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Regulator No.
2”, ca. 1890. A 36-inch oak and oak-veneer case with a clean old finish. Both glasses are period/original. The painted
dial is well-past it’s expiration date and is flaking even now. The hands are proper/original. The ST 8-day, time-only
movement is signed but will only run for a few minutes and will need cleaning. The pendulum stick and bob are original, as is
the weight, and there is a white label inside on the bottom. This model is most commonly found in oak; the average sale price
for 15 oak clocks over the past four years at AAC is $476. $250–$400.
