169.              $350

Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Regulator No. 2”, ca. 1910.  A very dark case, almost crusty, definitely crinkly, and probably mahogany.  Both glasses are old/original. The dial is acrylic paint and is lifting off the zinc base in places, but is probably stable for a while.  The hands are probably original.  The 8-day, time-only movement is running strongly, driven by a Seth Thomas No. 2 weight and a Seth Thomas pendulum stick and bob.  There is a good white label inside on the bottom.  Mahogany cases sell at a premium.  $350–$500.
