Waltham Clock Co. “Regulator No. 34”, ca. 1905. An uncommon model, with just three to be found on the Antique Clocks Identification and Price Guide and none on LiveAuctioneers. The 34-inch oak case has an old refinish and two old glasses; the signed, painted metal dial may have the original paint with some
chipping; the hands are likely original. The 8-day movement is signed and running, driven by a steel weight (probably not original)
and regulated by a wood stick and damascened pendulum bob. No label. This clock sold in 2017 at RO Schmitt’s for $750. $450–$700.
