E Ingraham & Co. “Ionic Calendar”,ca. 1886.  A 29.5-inch double dial calendar with a 12-inch time dial and a 10-inch calendar dial.  The wooden bezels are grain-painted and look good; the dial glass is modern, the lower glass period/original.  The time dial is toned paper and is signed in the middle; the hands match those in the catalog illustration (Ly, Ingraham Clocks & Watches, page 112).  The calendar dial is likely original and must be painted, as these dials never yellow; it bears the Ingraham logo and the correct hands. The 8-day, time-only movement is signed and running and the BB Lewis perpetual calendar is advancing.  There is a good label inside.  A nice example.  AAC sold two of this model a year ago for $301 each.  $250–$350.
