Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Parlor Calendar No. 8”, 1889.  A 27.5-inch walnut case with an old finish and contrast banding across the top, middle, and bottom.  Note the top carving and delicate finials – these are often damaged or replaced; I believe these are original.  There is a small chip off the top front of the carving.  The glasses are period/original, the zinc dials have been repainted.  The time hands are ST issue, the calendar hand is an incorrect replacement.  The signed movement has been cleaned and is running and striking on a cathedral gong.  The calendars are advancing.  There is a good label on the back of the door and inside behind the calendar.  AAC sold an example like this in January 2023 for $1250.  $900–$1200.
