Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Essex”, ca. 1913.  A 9.5-inch mahogany case with “shaded marquetery and brass feet”.  The glass is convex and beveled, the 4-inch porcelain dial signed and convex, with proper hands.  The 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is running and striking on a small cathedral gong. No label but cute as a button and about the same size.  $25–$100.
