90. $100
Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Eclipse”, ca. 1890. A popular shelf model; other manufacturers made similar models. Note that the pendulum has ‘ECLIPSE’ across the top, with a
silvered center. The walnut case is 24 inches tall with an old finish. The door glass is likely original, the painted
dial original as well, with the ST logo and light soiling, with the proper hands. The Seth Thomas 8-day, time-and-strike movement
is running and striking, although the strike is slow. There is a wire gong mounted on a signed ST base and a worn label on the
inside bottom. Still popular today; AAC sold two last year for $100 each. $100–$200.
