Terry & Andrews 30-hour steeple, 1842-1850. Terry & Andrews (Theodore & Franklin) were prolific producers of brass movement shelf clocks in Bristol CT, second only to
Chauncey Jerome. This 30-hour steeple is a typical example, 20 inches tall with mahogany veneer and two original glasses, the
milk-glass tablet well preserved. The metal dial holds the original paint with modern replacement hands. The unsigned
movement will strike but doesn’t want to run. There is a tattered label inside behind plastic. $75–$150.
