60. $450
Brewster & Ingrahams round gothic with cast iron
cups, 1846-1852. A second example of this uncommon model. The 19-inch mahogany case has a beautiful finish with flame
mahogany on the front. The dial glass is original, the frosted lower glass a modern replacement. The dial is wood,
rounded on the face and with some chipping; the hands are likely original. The signed 8-day, time-and-strike movement is running
and striking on a wire gong; there is a good label advertising this as a “repeating brass clock”, meaning you can pull down on a wire
inside to make it repeat the last hour strike. $450–$700.
