273. $200
English fusee lever-spring wall clock, ca. 1920? A 30-inch-tall
oak case, 16 inches wide, with carvings on the front and a clean finish; the dial has been repainted, the hands are likely original. There is a thick beveled glass in the bezel; the small knob to lock the bezel down is missing. The fusee movement likely runs
8 days, time-only, with a lever escapement on top of the unsigned movement. It is running strongly. There is no label
to be found, and nothing is signed. $200–$500.
