266. $100
Junghans spring-driven Vienna, ca. 1880. This is an unusual form
Vienna, and I could not find a similar example on LiveAuctioneers or the Antique Clocks Identification and Price Guide. It is
36 inches long from finial to finial; I believe the top finial is a replacement, but that may be the only thing that is not original
on this clock. The glass is old, the dial porcelain with some chips and cracks, the hands old. The 8-day, time and half-hour
strike, spring-driven movement is stamped with a Junghans logo and is running and striking on a wire gong. The pendulum bob
has been touched up. Very nice. $100–$400.
