L. Petryzk grand sonnerie Vienna, ca. 1860. The polished dark
mahogany case is 50 inches long with modern glass in the door and two likely original sidelights. The top finials are not fastened
down. The two-part porcelain dial is signed and has ornate hands; the minute hand may be a replacement. The 8-day movement
is unsigned; it is striking on the quarter-hours and repeating the hour, striking on two separate coiled gongs. The three brass
shell weights show considerable wear, the pendulum bob is hollow. This clock sold at Schmitt Horan in 2022 for $375. $250–$400.
