E.N. Welch Mfg. Co. “Regulator No. 11” ca. 1889. A 60-inch oak case
with a newer finish; it is 17 inches wide with a 10-inch dial. The door glass is original, with the original putty, as are the
slightly faded metal dial and hands. The time-only, signed movement is driven by two springs and runs for 30 days; it is running,
but needs to be cleaned. The pendulum is original, there is a brass signed beat scale at the bottom. There is no label. R.O. Schmitt’s sold an oak example in 2018 for $1200; this is not a common model. $900–$1200.
