Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. “No. 3 Vienna” REPRODUCTION, ca. 1980. I do not see a signature, stamp, or initials anywhere, so I do not know who made this modern reproduction of a classic ICCC calendar
clock. The base and crest are very well done and may have been purchased from the modern Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. or Joel Warren. The (presumed) 30-day, double-wind movement is not signed and looks like a modern reproduction; these clocks usually held a Welch
movement. The calendar mechanism certainly looks like an original, with very old roller papers. The paper dials are proper
ICCC reproductions and have been antiqued; the calendar dial is not correct to this model as it has a window to view the pendulum,
but this clock has a full-length pendulum that is visible at the bottom of the case. The hands are proper, the minute hand a
modern replacement and the hour hand a brass hand painted black. The door glass is modern, the 52-inch case has a good finish
with proper side carvings and burl panels in the corners of the door. Note that the left bottom finial has lost its tip. The dial board is fenestrated as were the early models and is well-done. The interior is painted black, as was done on the originals. The 30-day, time-only movement is running but needs to be cleaned, and there are close tolerances for the pendulum between the back
of the case and the mounting boards and calendar movement. The calendar movement is not advancing properly and will need attention. All in all, this is a pretty nice clock at one-third the cost of an original. $900–$1500.
