139.           $350

Ansonia Clock Co. “La Floride”, ca. 1914.  I love this clock! Look at the colors – does that not say “Florida” all over it?!   Pink has been associated with Florida since the early 1900’s – there is actually a Florida pink color, and you can see it on the front of this lovely clock.  The porcelain case is 15 inches tall with no chips, cracks, or crazing.  The dial glass is beveled, the porcelain dial is signed and bears the Ansonia logo in the middle.  The visible escapement has steel pallets, the hands are correct.  The 8-day time-and-strike Ansonia movement is running and striking on the hours and half-hours as expected on a cathedral gong.  One sale in 2021 for $300, but not nearly as pretty as this one.  $350–$500.
