E.N. Welch Mfg. Co. “Nanon”, ca. 1885.  A 21.5-inch walnut case with a clean finish.  The door glass is original with the original putty, the painted dial and hands are original as well. The Welch 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is running and striking on a wire gong.  There is an alarm hooked up but untested, and a Welch sandwich glass pendulum.  Two illegible labels behind plastic on the back.
