79.              $150

Chauncey Jerome sub-miniature steeple, ca. 1850. A 13-inch steeple with mahogany veneer and two period/original glasses.  The milk glass tablet is well-preserved; the metal dial holds old paint with some crackling, but I am not sure I would call it original.  The hands are proper modern replacements, and the finials may not be original.  The one-day time-only movement is unsigned, running like a champ.  There is a green Jerome label inside; this clock likely was made for export to England.  $150–$300.
