Brewster & Ingrahams 8-day repeating steeple with brass springs, 1846-1852.   A 20-inch mahogany case with an old finish in need of some rejuvenation.  Both glasses are original with a clean cut-glass and frosted tablet.  The metal dial holds the original paint and signature, with the period/original hands.  The 8-day, time-and-strike movement with a repeater function has large brass springs; it is running and striking on a wire gong.  There is a good label inside.  $250–$500.
