Brewster & Ingrahams round gothic with cast iron cups, 1846-1852.  A second example of this uncommon model, again with a beautiful mahogany case with a polished finish. The dial glass is modern, the cut and frosted tablet original.  The wooden dial holds the original paint and signature; there are several repaired breaks.  The brass 8-day time-and-strike movement is signed, with (presumably) brass springs inside the cast iron cups; it is running and striking with a repeater function, as noted on the dark but complete label inside.  A nice example.  $700–$1000.
