American Clock Co.(?) “Temple”, ca. 1866.  An 18.5-inch iron-front with good color, including the green ivy-covered columns, painted flowers, and MOP.  Note the small pieces of MOP along all the edges.  The paper dial is worn, the hands likely replacements, the dial glass is convex.  The 8-day time-and-strike movement is unsigned; it is running and striking on a wire gong.  There are remnants of a label that looks like an American Clocks label to me.  An uncommon model in excellent condition.  $150–$250.
