42.                  $100

Henry Sperry miniature column clock, 1834-1852.  A 12-inch grain-painted pine case with half-columns on each side.  The columns are also grain-painted, as is the door, but the finish is dark.  I believe the dial glass is a modern replacement, the lower glass period/original with a good decalcomania image of a town square.  The metal dial holds the original paint with light wear and chipping, the hands are modern replacements.  The 30-hour time-only movement will run briefly; there is an interesting embossed pendulum bob and a dark label with some losses.  Sperry was a retailer in New York City.  $100–$200.
