New England Clock Co. cigar box clock, ca. 1851.  An 11-inch case with refinished mahogany veneer all around and an original door glass and decalcomania tablet.  The signed dial shows chipping and wear the hands look original.  The 30-hour time-only movement will run briefly; there is an early embossed pendulum bob.  There is a good label on the backwall.  These are popular little clocks and come in a variety of colors.  They are currently selling for around $400.  $300–$500.
