Smith & Goodrich fusee OG shelf clock, 1847-1852.  A 15-inch shelf clock with ogee front trim in mahogany veneer with a clean finish.  Both glasses are period/original with a well-preserved tablet.  The dial is an antiqued aluminum replacement; the hour hand period, the minute hand a modern proper replacement.  The 30-hour time-and-strike double-fusee is running and striking on a wire gong; there is a good green label inside.  AAC sold one last summer for $250.  $150–$400.
