Waterbury Clock Co. “Bruce”, ca. 1893.  A 38-inch walnut case with an old, clean finish and old glass in the door.  The crest is original and correct (see Ly, Waterbury Clocks & Watches, page 199).  The painted dial is original, with the Waterbury logo; the hands are slight mismatches.  The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is signed, running and striking on the hours and half-hours without a hitch.  There is a cathedral gong and a nickel pendulum bob.  No label to be found.  AAC sold a Bruce in 2022 for $555.  $350–$500.
