F. Kroeber Clock Co. “Vienna Regulator No. 51” ca. 1888. This clock is shown on page 469 of Ly’s book on Kroeber clocks; the case is 47 inches finial tip to finial tip, in polished walnut with ebonized trim and three old/original glasses.  The center finial appears to be a replacement.  The porcelain dial has some very fine hairlines in the outer ring with proper hands and a seconds bit.  The 8-day time-only movement is signed and running, driven by a brass weight.  There is no label.  No sales on LiveAuctioneers and only one sale on the Antique Clocks Identification and Price Guide, in 2003 for $500.  $350-$600.
