170. $350
Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. “No. 4 Hanging Office”, 1889. A 28.5-inch walnut case, clean but unvarnished; there is a split between the dials on the right. Both glasses are old/original,
the paper dials are old as well, but not necessarily original. The hands are appropriate. The E.N. Welch movement runs
30 days, time-only, with nickel plates, and is the proper movement for this model; note the large opening in the dial to view the
nickel-plated movement. It is running without problem and the calendar is advancing; the pendulum bob is nickel as it should
be. No label, but the date of manufacture is penciled inside (Dec 1889, #37). A nice example. This model typically
sells for around $400. $350–$450.
