Ansonia Clock Co. “Bangor”, ca. 1904.  An enameled cast iron mantel clock notable for the “Native American Chief” figureheads on the sides.  The finish on the 10.5-inch-tall by 16.5-inch-wide case is original, in good condition; the ornaments are in their original bronze finish.  The repousse brass dial is darkened and sits behind a flat glass in a simple bezel.  The hands are proper.  The Ansonia 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is running and striking loudly on a cathedral gong.  $100–$200.
