Waterbury Clock Co. iron case with figural, ca. 1890.  One of many metal case clocks that do not appear in Ly’s two volumes on Waterbury clocks.  The case, with the figural, is 21 inches tall and has been refinished nicely.  The glass over the dial is convex, the dial is old paper and the hands period.  The time-and-strike movement is die-stamped and running, the strike side a bit reluctant.  There is a battered green label inside with the location sold in New York City.  $100–$200.
