Ansonia Clock Co. “Porcelain J”, ca. 1895. This is one
of Ansonia’s earliest porcelain clocks and contains an 8-day time-only movement; see page 573 of Ly’s Ansonia Clocks & Watches for
a catalog drawing and description. The case is 12 inches tall in pink with light crazing and is not marked Royal Bonn. The glass is beveled, the dial is porcelain, and the minute hand is a replacement. The movement is signed; it will only run
for a few minutes and will likely need service. No sales records; this is a rare one. $250–$500.
