126.           $250

Ansonia Clock Co. unknown model, ca. 1904.  I can’t find this model in Ly’s book on Ansonia clocks, although there are several similar models; this clock has a signed round movement used in these other models and in the hanging porcelain clocks (see page 644 of Ansonia Clocks & Watches).  The Royal Bonn porcelain case is 16 inches tall in a delicate green color with white sides and blue and purple flowers.  There are no chips or cracks, and only the slightest crazing and discoloration at the bottom.  The dial glass is beveled, the one-piece porcelain dial decorated and signed, including the Ansonia logo.  The minute hand is a not-quite-right replacement.  The back cover is a homemade replacement.  The 8-day, half-hour strike movement will not run or strike and will need service.  It strikes on a cathedral gong.  This clock is worth having repaired.  $250–$500.
