Ansonia Clock Co. “La Vendee”, ca. 1904.  A beautiful lavender and cream case with flowers on the front of the 14.5-inch case.  There is minor loss of gilding and slight discoloration, but no crazing, chips, cracks, or repairs.  The dial glass is beveled, the two-part porcelain dial in fine condition with proper hands.  The pallets are steel.  The signed 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is running with authority and striking on the cathedral gong.  A nice example in an uncommon color.  $250–$500.
